- Biography
Copyist associated with Olimpia Perez. Also the copyist of P-La, 47-V-39 and P-La, 47-IV-7. The handwriting closely resembles that of Arcangelo Ghioldi, head copyist at the S. Carlo Theatre, Naples, between 1782 and until 1793, who identifies himself on the title page of a copy of the first act of Pietro Guglielmi’s setting of Alessandro nell Indie (https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b8562448s/). For Ghioldi, see Agostina Zecca Laterza, ‘Manuscript Music Published in Naples: 1780–1820’, Fontes Artis Musicae, 59/2 (2012), pp. 149-157.
